Efo Worlanyo wins NDC Youth Organizer of Brong Ahafo Region

The prolific writer and youth activist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO, has been elected the Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer of the NDC at a Regional Conference held yesterday at the College of Arts and Science, Sunyani.

Mr. Tsepo pulls 44 votes defeating his main contender who is the incumbent Deputy Youth Organizer of the Regional, Mr. John Ayaba, 31 votes and other two who pulled 28 and zero (0) votes respectively.

Speaking to Awake News shortly after his victory, Mr. Tsekpo said his [ads1]”ultimate goals his to working together with all his contenders and the entire youth leadership of the party to ensure the NDC regains power in 2020″.

Efo Worlanyo also used the opportunity to express his profound gratitude and appreciation to all his supporters who worked hard for his victory and assured them of living to the task. He also wished all aspirants and delegates in the other elections well and he works on releasing his official statement.

Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO is known on the national front as a youth activist who is very vocal on national issues and the Union is very optimistic he will use his experience over the years to champion the course of the Union.

He is a Youth Activist in Brong Ahafo Region and has been in Brong Ahafo Region since 1993.

Efo Worlanyo declared winner

In 2011 he became the National President of Entrepreneurship and Finance Students Union. His administration within a year saw a purchase of two buses, the establishment of mineral water factory to support activities of the union, capacity building for members as well as Entrepreneurship training for members.

In 2012 Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO during his national service days in Sandema in Upper East Region, he contested and became the District NASPA President and later won the Regional election to become the Upper East Regional President of National Service Personnel Association (NASPA).

Mr. Tsekpo is currently the Director of Operations in Berekum Youth Employment Agency and Chairman of  Public Sector Workers Union for the Youth Employment Agency.
