Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo wins Community Heroes Award 2018

Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO, a youth Activist in Brong Ahafo Region has been adjusted winner of the 2018 Community Heroes Award by the Africa Centre for Peace Building and Awake Africa Magazine.

Mr. Tsekpo others with four others are being honored in the Youth [ads1]Empowerment category of the award for their contributions to youth development and the inspiration they bring to the youth in their various communities.

The Berekum based entrepreneur was recently elected as the Berekum Municipal Union Chairman of the Public Service Workers Union of the Youth Employment Agency.

Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO is known on the national front as a youth activist and NDC youth activist who is very vocal on national issues and the Union is very optimistic he will use his experience over the years to champion the course of the Union.

Brief Profile:

Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO is a Youth Activist in Brong Ahafo Region and has been in Brong Ahafo Region since 1993.

In 2011 he became the National President of Entrepreneurship and Finance Students Union. His administration within a year saw a purchase of two buses, the establishment of mineral water factory to support activities of the union, capacity building for members as well as Entrepreneurship training for members.

In 2012 Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO during his national service days in Sandema in Upper East Region, he contested and became the District NASPA President and later won the Regional election to become the Upper East Regional President of National Service Personnels Association.(NASPA).

Mr. Tsekpo is currently the Director of Operations in Berekum Youth Employment Agency.
