Ecobank Double Salary Promo Reloaded rewards more customers

The third round of Ecobank Ghana PLC’s Double Salary Promo Reloaded has concluded, with 70 customers winning various rewards.

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) oversaw the draw, which took place in Accra. The 70 winners boost the overall number of clients who have won in the three-month May, June, and July drawings to 186.

The draw was conducted in seven segments: the first draw awarded 22 winners who had salary accounts with Ecobank Ghana; the second and third draws recognised 40 winners who converted their current accounts to salary accounts in order to participate in the promotion; the fourth draw was the zonal one, in which two lucky winners had their salaries quadrupled; and the final three draws were the regional ones, in which two winners from the Greater Accra, Northern, and Western regions were selected.

“There are virtues in working hard. We believe that our customers do a part, but sometimes beyond hard work, it is very necessary to have a partner who provides certain incentives to help motivate one to do more,” said Edward Botchwey, Executive Director and Head of Consumer Banking at Ecobank Ghana.

Working hard has many benefits. We believe that our customers contribute in some ways, but sometimes having a partner that offers specific incentives is essential to helping one feel more motivated to work harder,” he stated.

The Ecobank Salary Promo Reloaded was instituted in January 2022 to reward existing and new salaried account holders for their loyalty. We think that our consumers contribute in various ways, but sometimes having a partner that offers specific incentives is essential to spurring on one’s own initiative,” remarked

The first editions were held in February, March, and April 2022, rewarding 244 people by doubling their pay checks.

The second draw was held at the end of June in the Bono Regional Capital, Sunyani. A total of 63 individuals emerged winners, leading to wild jubilation among customers of the bank who were present at the draw.

The promotion was open to all Ecobank Ghana customers who are above 18 years old and receiving salaries either through their current account or salary account, with the exception of Ecobank employees and their families and employees and representatives of the NLA and their families.

Dr. Botchwey pledged that Ecobank Ghana will continue to support its customers, urging existing and prospective customers to open salary accounts in order to enjoy benefits such as free life insurance coverage of up to GH¢10,000, free debit cards, free Internet and mobile banking services, no minimum balance, and no card maintenance fees, among others.
