I want to first send my heartfelt condolences to the family of those over 90 people who lost their lives through various road accidents on Friday. May the good Lord find a resting place for them until we meet again.
Fellow Ghanaians, something is going on in Ghana and either people have not paid attention to it or they are afraid to talk about it. If nobody will speak about it, I will. It is about the Horn. The horn that Rev Owusu Bempah gave to Nana Akufo Addo when he first visited his church to thank god (notice the small g) for his victory in the 2016 elections. Since this horn was given to Akufo Addo, Ghana has not seen real peace. Do we still remember that on the day the horn was handed over to the President, 20 children mysteriously lost their lives in the Kintampo water falls? Two or three of the major accidents have occurred on the Kintampo road. Do you consider these as mere coincidence? These are observations Ghanaians should note and ask questions and demand accountability from the President.
There is also this white handkerchief that the President ties it around his wrist. Why would a learned person like the President dress in suit and then tie a white handkerchief around his wrist? Initially, some of us thought he uses it to take care of his flu but we are now seeing that it has a different purpose. Is the white handkerchief meant to silence people even though the economy and the country as a whole are in such a mess? No gentleman dresses in a suit and ties his wrist with a white handkerchief except the President of Ghana. It was such an embarrassment to see the President of Ghana addressing the UN General Assembly, dressed in the suit and with a white handkerchief tied around his wrist. These are things nobody will say but I will.
I know by now people have rubbished the contents of this piece but I know if all these mysterious accidents had happened when John Mahama were the President, different interpretations would have come from the NPP. Do we remember what they said about Prof. Atta-Mills about his black hands and a ring? The NPP forced him to explain the “black hands” on air to the world. Why can’t we demand the same thing from Nana Addo or is it because Rev. Owusu Bempah is his spiritual father?
These numerous accidents on the road should not be looked at only with the physical eyes and blame our drivers and roads. We should demand to know why the horn was given to the President and why a gentleman like the President will dress in suit and tie his wrist with a white handkerchief. They all should have a spiritual meaning. If Rev Owusu Bempah, who prophesied about the death of the Chief Imam but turns around to apologize to him with a cow, is the spiritual father of the President, then some of these mysterious accidents should not be taken for granted.
My prescription for the many road accidents is that physically, the President should be seen giving back the horn he collected from Rev Owusu Bempah and also stop using that white handkerchief. If Ghanaians don’t see that the horn and the handkerchief have been returned to their respective owners, they should vote against Nana Akufo Addo in 2020. It might sound silly but if you want to see more of such mysterious deaths and accidents after 2020, vote to keep Nana Akufo Addo and Rev Owusu Bempah in power. Let the horn and the white handkerchief go back to their original owners and see if these mysterious accidents and deaths will not stop. If nobody will say it, I have said it.
