Doesn’t Ibrahim Mahama qualifies to be Finance Minister? ASEPA asks Akufo Addo

According to the President, the best requirement one needs to become a Finance Minister in his government is to be in charge of the fundraising drive of the NPP during its campaign in 2016.

And as long as we the public did not find anything wrong with his cousin playing that role in opposition we shouldn’t have any qualms at all if his efforts are being rewarded now as Finance Minister.

Well does the President know the roles the likes of Ibrahim Mahama, Alfred Mahama, the Mahama brothers and other close relatives of John Mahama played in the John Mahama Presidential campaign in 2012 and yet John Mahama did not see the need to directly involve any of them in his Government?

Ken Ofori Attah did not invest his pocket money, infact he was on the streets of Accra and Kumasi begging Kayaye’s…poor Kayaye’s to donate their widow’s mite to the Akufo Addo campaign, unlike Ibrahim Mahama and the Mahama brothers whose direct contributions from their own investment to their brother’s campaign was unquantifiable.
How many times didn’t Ibrahim Mahama bail the John Mahama campaign out in 2012 and 2016?

Why didn’t John Mahama make his brother who is an accomplished international businessman a Finance Minister, or is Ken Ofori Attah more qualified than Ibrahim Mahama?
In terms of accomplishment in the field of business, does Ken Ofori Attah come any close to Ibrahim Mahama?

So why didn’t John Mahama make Ibrahim the Finance Minister in his government?[ going by the principle that, you cannot appoint your enemies]

How would the whole Country have reacted including he President Akufo Addo in opposition if John Mahama had appointed his brother Ibrahim as his Finance Minister [ for bankrolling his campaign]?

When the NPP was shouting in opposition that all government contracts were going to Ibrahim Mahama, didn’t they know that he was a financial powerhouse behind his brother’s campaign?

The President’s response to the nepotism question posed by O.B of Asempa FM was not only disgusting but a smack of insincerity and an unprincipled cocktail of arrogance and shamelessness.

What was wrong yesterday cannot be right today just because it is President Akufo Addo in power…

And the most disgusting of all was the shameless clap from those unprincipled journalists after that silly response.. the same journalists who were screaming day and night on radio and television just because John Mahama had appointed just one distant relative in his government.

I say a big SHAME to them all…you have disgraced the inky profession with your bias and lack of fairness and objectivity in handling National issues.

You are the reasons the Politicians keep swindling the people…the suffering of the people lay heavily on your consciences…you are but a major accomplices to all the crimes against the State.

I rest my case.
