The Executive Director of Africa Centre for Peace Building, Korsi Senyo has fiercely reprimanded the flagbearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo for emerging as the New Patriotic Party spokesperson.

According to him, the 2020 Presidential Candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) has turned himself into an NPP errand boy and always speaking like NPP serial caller.

In a facebook post Mr. Senyo said, “How can these so-called minority political parties that participated in the election 2020 say they want peace in Ghana by spending money to print these messages including the one that says “Stop The Market Burning Mahama”?.

His remarks come after the Minor political parties that contested the just-ended elections took to the streets of Accra demanding Mr John Mahama, the Presidential Candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to concede defeat and congratulate Akufo-Addo, the President-elect.

“The most annoying of all is the 2020 Presidential Candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo who has turned himself into an NPP errand boy and always speaking like NPP serial caller. I was shocked last 3days when both of us were making our contributions into the peace and security of the post-election events on Agoo FM and all he could tell the host was that my Ewe name alone should tell everyone I am an NDC man – such a low level thinking of a man who wants to be President of Ghana, he noted.

Korsi Senyo further said “We went to an election in which 8 were shot dead by men in uniform, several injured, military was used to harass voters, results of the election are now changing like traffic, Techiman South Constituecy parliamentary election’s pink sheet the the EC claimed to have used for the non-exiting declaration is no where to be found, The people of Lolobi, Akpafu, Likpe, Santrokofi and Buem areas disenfranchised but non of these smaller parties have seen nothing wrong to say about it”.

Prior to this, he believes the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the Financier to these minor parties hence their actions.

“These attacks on the visionary, humble, peace loving leader and Ghana’s King of Infrastructure Development, John Mahama is just a calculated attempt by the NPP and government to shift attention of the public from realities of relics of the 2020 election and how Ghanaians have rejected the NPP at the polls but they are using force to impose the will of the few on the masses. A typical example is the insults and the threats from Ghana’s richest man and MPs, Ken Agyapong poured on John Mahama”.

“When I said all those smaller political parties are useless, my NPP friends were attacking me but the fact of the matter is that these posters and these activities may be sponsored by the NPP. And with the manner in which that can bold say the former president is the one burning the markets shows clearly the the NPP is guilty of their own actions”, Mr. Senyo said.
