Date for picketing at Mahama’s office changed

The Fixing the Country Movement has announced that the demonstration and picketing at former President John Dramani Mahama’s office on November 16 have been rescheduled for November 23.

Ernest Owusu Bempah, the covener, stated in a press statement that the date change is due to the final funeral rites of the former first lady, the late Mrs. Theresa Aba Kufour, which also fall on the same day, November 16, 2023.

“The movement would want to join the nation and commiserate with the entire Kufour family on that day.

“However, a new date has been arranged and agreed upon with the Ghana Police Service, which is Thursday, November 23, 2023,” the statement disclosed.

“The Movement would also use this medium to reassure our teeming supporters and the general public to remain poised for the demonstration.” part of the statement reads.
