The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today, Sunday, April 19, 2020 address the nation to update citizens on the Covid-19 situations in the country.
This will be the 7th address in series by the President on Coronavirus ever since the virus hit Ghana on March 12, 2020.
It is expected that the President will speak on whether the partial lockdown in Accra, Kamsi, Kasoa and Tema will end or extended.
Currently, the number of coronavirus cases has surged to 834 with an additional death recorded making 9 death cases in total.
Also, 16 more recovered from the novel coronavirus bringing the total to 99 recoveries.
