John Dumelo, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency has added his voice for calls for President Akufo-Addo to open the 615 bed University of Ghana Medical Centre.
His call is coming in at the wake of continues in increase in the dreaded corona virus cases in the country.
As of today, Ghana has recorded 68 positive cases with 3 deaths. The cars has increased more than 100% in the last 48hours for which many are calling for a total lockdown of the country.
“The cases are now 68. We are not praying for it to increase but that looks inevitable now.” – John Dumelo said in a facebook post sighted by Awake News
“I would like to please beg His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo to please open the 615 bed University of Ghana Medical Center for the purpose of managing the virus. Respectfully Sir.” – he added
The University of Ghana Medical Center was constructed by former President John Mahama
