President Akufo-Addo during the opening to traffic the newly constructed Teme Round About Interchange has taken a swipe at his predecessor John Mahama over the latter’s claims that he delivered unprecedented infrastructure while in office.

According to President Akufo-Addo, such claims by Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are just fantasy and only existed in the party’s Green Book.

However, notably among Mahama’s projects listed in the Green Book is the University of Ghana Medical Centre which is now one of the facilities being used as the COVID-19 treatment centres in Accra.

Reacting to news reports yesterday that President Akudo-Addo’s Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu, his wife and son have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus and are therefore receiving at the University of Ghana Medical Centre, Mr. Elikem Kotoko said:

“Ghana’s Health Minister, his wife and son are being treated at Pages 26 and 27 of the GreenBook which Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo referred to as fantasy project.”

“They didn’t even go there in an ambulance.” – He added

For the NDC Communicator, “NPP, until you come clean to speak truth to Ghanaians…” their words and past will only hunt them when the reality dawns on them.

Ghana has recorded over 262 new coronavirus cases in the last 24hours making the total positive cases jumping to 11,118.

The Ghana Health Service announced 498 cases on Friday but barely 12 hours later, have the cases grown to 11,118 with 3,979 recoveries and 48 deaths.
