President of the Republic of Ghana is expected to address the nation this evening, Sunday, April 26, 2020 at 8pm on measures government has taken against spread of the corona virus.
According to figures released by the Ghana Health Service, total confirmed positive cases has hit 1,550 with 11 deaths and 155 recoveries.
It is not yet clear the areas the President will touch in his address but Awake News has been monitoring social media reactions to his expected address.
Some are of the expectations that:
- Lockdown could come back for another two weeks
- lockdown could extend to other parts of the country
- Ban of social gatherings could extend to markets
