I just read in the news that police have arrested a pastor in Kumasi for allegedly holding a church programme in contravention of President Akufo-Addo’s directive on the suspension of all public events including amid the spread of the deadly Cond 19.

However, it has been reported that the National Identifications Authority led by Prof. Ken Attafuah has commenced the Ghana Card mass registration exercise in the Eastern Region. An exercise that usually has a huge number (even far more than some church, conferences and funerals) of people in long cues over long hours.

This means the NIA Boss has also acted in contravention with the President’s directive and must be arrested by the police immediately.

I assume someone reported the pastor to the Police hence his arrest. As a citizen, I will also report Prof. Ken Attafuah to the police
