The Member of Parliament for Domeabra-Obom Constituency, Sophia Karen Ackuaku has joined the NDC Constituency Chairman Isaac Awuku Yibor, Organizer Ellis Amartei Aryee and some branch executives to donate items to some health centres and Chip compounds in the Constituency on 27th March, 2020.
In a statement signed by the Constituency Secretary, Nii Sackey said “The items donated by the Hon. MP includes Veronica buckets, gallons of Dettol, assorted toilet rolls, hand sanitizers, towels, Soaps etc” in bid to support front line health workers to fight the deadly coronavirus.
According to Mr. Sackey, the exercise aims at complementing the efforts of the NDC’s Technical Committee on convid -19 and Government.
“Health and Chip compounds which benefited from the generosity of the Hon. MP were Balagonor Chip compound, Kwame Anum Chip, Hobor Chip compound, Honi- Obelikwa Chip compound, Obom clinic and Kofi Kwei Chip compound.” – He said
“The Honourable MP also took her time to educate constituents on the need to stick to the WHO and GHS protocols such as frequent washing of hands with soap under running water for at least 20 seconds, but her emphasis was for her constituents to stay home to avoid contracting the virus.” – Mr. Sackey added

SUBJECT: DISTRIBUTION OF LOGISTICS TO FIGHT COVID-19
My brothers and sisters, I bring you warm greetings from the leadership of the NDC in DOMEABRA-OBOM Constituency and to humbly inform you that our Hon. Member of Parliament Sophia Karen Ackuaku, Chairman Isaac Awuku Yibor, Organizer Ellis Amartei Aryee and some colleague branch executives donated items to some health centres and Chip compounds in the Constituency on 27th March, 2020.
The items donated by the Hon. MP includes Veronica buckets, gallons of dettol, assorted toilet rolls, hand sanitizers, towels, Soaps etc. These donations were made to help the front line workers in our health centres / chip compounds to fight the deadly corona virus in their line of duty and to complement the efforts of the NDC’s Technical Committee on convid -19 and Government.
