The Concerned Employed Youth of Akatsi South usher felicitations and messages of encouragement to workers in and around the Akatsi South municipality as the country celebrates Workers Day today.
In a statement celebrating Ghanaian workers, particularly those in Akatsi South, Mr. Lucas Akpadie, the convenor for the youth group, stated that the Concerned Employed Youth of Akatsi South, with much positive thought and joy, wishes to congratulate all Ghanaian workers for their contribution towards the building of Ghana, especially workers from and within the Akatsi South Constituency.
They added that a strong and determined labor force is a healthy economy, for that matter. With the efforts of Mr. Samuel Nugblegah, they are proud to be named among the employees of Ghana under organized labor, of which most are members of the Health Services Workers Union of T.U.C. This gesture has greatly improved their economic status.
“On this note, we collectively say ayeeko to an illustrious son of Avenor, Hon. Samuel Benedict Nugblega, for his empowerment policies for the many youth and families in Akatsi South Constituency,” they added.
Again, as a group, we wish to reiterate our resolve to thank and project Hon. Samuel Benedict Nugblega for breaking the shackles of poverty through his initiative, intervention, and humanitarian service to the people he has extended his kindhearted hands to by giving us a sustainable job, part of their statement read.
“It is not enough to wish workers well when your record on employment is abysmal and nothing to ride home about,” Mr. Akpadie added.
He proceeded to add that the group has learned with much happiness that Mr. Samuel Nugblegah, a kind man, has brought himself up for election into the high office of the Member of Parliament of the area. We have fully endorsed him and ask all delegates to elect him. He has demonstrated much intellect as a son of the land.
God bless Organized labor!
God bless Akatsi South!
Thanks.
Signed
Lucas Akpadie
