Known in private life as Josephine Korkor Abbey, Naa Osabu Abbey I said the ‘home sweet home’ cryptic means there is no place better than one’s home, thus, the need for Prampram indigenes seeking greener pastures abroad to remember their root.

Speaking at a durbar to climax the peaceful celebration of the 2021 Homowo Festival at Prampram, Naa Abbey I said Prampram has vast arable land for its affluent indigenes living abroad to take advantage to create employment for the unemployed youth.

“We need you to be visiting home often to be abreast with happenings. You may always be fed on false if you continue to rely on some friends and family here to keep you up-to-date with happenings at home.
“Prampram is very peaceful and the Traditional Area needs your financial muscles to make it the hub of employment for its youth and Ghana,” Naa Abbey I said.

She expressed her immense gratitude to the Greater Accra Regional Security Council, led by the Regional Minister, for ensuring that this year’s Homowo Festival was celebrated peacefully.

She said Prampram has come a long way and so was happy this year’s festival did not record any violence.
