Chelsea duo coach Enzo Maresca and Cole Palmer has won the English Premier League manager and player of the month award for September 2024.
The coach and player won the awards after an impeccable performance throughout the month of September.
Maresca led Chelsea to wins over Bournemouth, West Ham, Brighton and a draw to Crystal Palace. Maresca is Chelsea next coach to bag Manager of the Month award after Thomas Tuchel won it in October 2021.
Cole Palmer has also been announced as EPL’s Player of the Month following five goals and one assist during September.
Meanwhile, Palmer has now won two Player of the Month awards in 2024, having earlier been recognized for his standout performances in April.
Enzo Maresca, said “We had a very good month,’ said the former Leicester boss. We all need people around us to make things better. I’m very grateful to have all of them. We are always looking at new things and how we can improve from different football and different countries”.
