The Central Regional Youth Leadership of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has hailed the decision of the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) to expel the former Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Allotey Jacobs from the party.
In a statement copied Awake News, the Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Eric Dadson said “We believe politics is about positive numbers and not just about numbers and it is clear Mr Jacobs was becoming a nuisance to the party, hence our joy at the decision to dismiss him from the party.”
“We write on our behalf as Youth Leaders of the NDC in Central Region and on behalf of all the teeming youth of the party in the Region to express our sincere appreciation to the Functional Executives Committee Members of the NDC for dismissing Mr Allotey Jacobs from the party.” – the statement said
Mr. Jacobs was yesterday expelled from the NDC after the Party’s Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of “misconduct and anti-party behavior”
“The Functional Executive Committee acting in compliance of Article 48( 1) of the NDC Constitution has unanimously adopted the report and accepts fully its recommendation for your expulsion from the party.
You are therefore by the decision of FEC been expelled from the National Democratic Congress and for that matter no more recognized as a member of the party and cannot carry yourself as such.” – a letter to Jacobs Allotey said.
Mr. Dadson emphasized that “We solemnly affirm our unalloyed commitment to the cause of the party, now that the “black sheep” has been driven from our midst and our territory purged of an insatiable saboteur.”

Kudos for Expelling Allotey Jacobs From the NDC
We write on our behalf as Youth Leaders of the NDC in Central Region and on behalf of all the teeming youth of the party in the Region to express our sincere appreciation to the Functional Executives Committee Members of the NDC for dismissing Mr Allotey Jacobs from the party.

It is worth noting that, the expulsion of Mr Allotey Jacobs serves as an image cleansing endeavor for the NDC fraternity in Central Region since his continued stay in the party was a dent and an indelible blot on the image and reputation of all party members in the Region, especially the younger generation.
