Celebrating Omanhene Kwabena Asante, Son of Ahafo

Omanhene Kwabena Asante

Omanhene Kwabena Asante

Today is the last day of 2020, and as a son of Ahafo, taking stock of what 2020 birthed, one is encouraged to celebrate personalities from Ahafo, who used their platform to project the region.

Omanhene Kwabena Asante, on behalf of the sons and daughters (adopted and indigenes) of Ahafo, permit me to celebrate you.

Though you are making a name for yourself, you have put Ahafo Region on the map of Ghana and beyond. You have so excelled in your field that you have a loyal base that follow you.

You may have started from the remotest of place, without societal recognition and encouragement. You may have faced your fears alone and fought your doubts without the support of the region, you have used your platform to make us proud of having you as a brother, uncle and son.

We hope 2021 would be a year you create the platform for your people to be heard. We pray 2021 brings you greater health and divine protection.

In 2021, with your help and advocacy, Ahafo should hold her place high in the table of regions. We need overall development. Our tattered roads needs fixing. We need a University we can call out own. We need people of power to listen to the wealthiest region in Ghana.

Ayeeko Son of the Land.

Edem Koku Edem
Goaso, Ahafo.
