Press release:
STATEMENT ON THE ARREST OF KOKU ANYIDOHO
I take serious exception and reservation to the arrest of Mr. Koku Anyidoho who doubles as the Dep. General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)
His arrest is a clear exposure of weakness on the part of government and a show of victimisation, indiscriminate show of political power, chauvinism, artifice, dirty pool, gyp, abuse, [ads1]sequestration etc to cover up the shady passing of the US-GHANA military base agreement which majority of Ghanaians think is slavery in disguise.
It should be noted that, the magnitude of what Mr Koku Anyidoho said is no where near the treasonable comment of declaring war by Kennedy Agyepong of the NPP and the All-die-be-die comment by no less a person but the Presidential candidate Nana Akuffo Addo, now the President of the republic of Ghana.
I demand the immediate release of Koku Anyidoho, because the laws of a democratic country is applied equally and not apocalyptic form of ruling.
I use this opportunity to also call on well meaning Ghanaians to come out in their numbers to participate fully in today’s demonstration against the Ghana-US Military agreement.
We must protect the sovereignty of Ghana as enjoined by the 1992 constitution.
Bright Nudokpo-Honu
Dep. Nat. Youth Org. Hopeful (NDC)
