Currently, the National Health Insurance Scheme is facing a lot of challenges, key among them is the inability of the scheme to register new members.

This is shocking and very worrying since it is a nationwide problem and the managers of the schemes are unconcerned and not willing to provide answers as to why they are currently not registering new members.

The only thing they are doing now is the renewal of the cards of members who have already signed unto the scheme.
Over four weeks now people who went to the district offices of the National Health Insurance Scheme across the nation to register as new members are left stranded and dejected because they were told the scheme is facing some challenges for which new members cannot be registered.
Is this the change the good people of Ghana people want?
It very upsetting and unpleasant of how mismanagement and irresponsibility have become the order of the day under this corruptible administration at all levels.
I am calling on the government to provide answers to the following questions.
1:  Is the government aware that new members cannot currently sign onto the scheme?
2:  If yes, what brought about this challenge and what steps are being taken to resolve the challenge?
3: When will this challenge be fixed for new members who are yet to be registered also get the chance to enroll onto the scheme?
4: Was the scheme not registering new clients under the previous administration before the NPP took over and freeze the registration now?
5: If yes, what shows that NPP is not more incompetent and irresponsible than the NDC as they claimed in opposition?
