Mr. Markson Korku Seayor, the immediate past V20 Regional Coordinator of the NPP has urged the party’s serial callers in the Volta Region to commit themselves to the NPP’s mission of staying in government beyond 2024.
Mr. Markson Seayor who was interacting with an NPP serial callers group in the Ho Central Constituency over the weekend said the President Akufo-Addo led government has achieved a lot since taking over from the NDC in 2016, a feat he said puts the party on course to breaking the 8.’
He cautioned the group to eschew all forms of negative attitudes that would mar the party’s chances of staying in power beyond the eight years.
“Our party under the able leadership of President Akufo-Addo has achieved a lot since coming into office in 2016. We are committed to staying in power beyond 2024. We want to break the 8. But for us to achieve that, we need to keep propagating the good policies and initiatives of His Excellency the President and the NPP-led government,” he said.
He urged that, “For us to achieve our mission of breaking the 8, we must work hard and eschew all forms of negative attitudes that will make breaking the 8 a difficulty.”
Mr. Markson Korku Seayor, who is lacing his boots to contest the position of the Volta Regional Youth Organizer in the upcoming Regional elections also presented bags of rice, cooking oil, mackerel, mobile phones and an undisclosed amount of money to the group and asked them for their support ahead of the contest.
The Ho Central Constituency Communications Director of the NPP, Mr. Perry Nuwordu,
thanked Mr. Seayor for the gesture and urged him to continue to touch base with the grassroots.
Mr. Enerst Nuworse, Chairman for the Serial Callers Association, Ho Central Constituency, was full of praise for Mr. Seayor and assured him of the group’s support.
