The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has declared the suspension of all social gatherings in Ghana for the next four weeks.

In a press briefing monitored by Awake News on Sunday the 15th of March 2019, Nana Addo said, all social gatherings in Ghana such as funerals, parties, football games, etc must be suspended for the next four weeks.

According to him all public and private schools are to close down starting from tomorrow.

“All schools including private schools must be closed down until further notice” – He said

The presidents decision is coming on the heels of Ghana reading four additional corona virus cases in 3days making the total positive cases to six (6).

According to him there has been 100 reported cases in Ghana out of which six are confirmed to have the deadly COVI-19 virus.
