Friends of Geoffrey Kini, a group that supports the Member of Parliament for Nkwanta South, Hon. Geoffrey Kini, was inaugurated on Sunday 19th August, 2018 at the English and Arabic school park in Nkwanta South Municipality of the Volta Region.
[ads1]The programme was organized and attended by all the youths of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) within the Nkwanta South Constituency.
According to Mr. Aziz Juna, a member of the group who also doubles as the Deputy Organizer of the Nkwanta South Constituency, ‘Friends of Geoffrey Kini’, was established two years ago to support the MP’s bid.
He noted that the group’s aim was to help get the right candidate to help bring development to the area.
The second objective is to create unity among the members and to explain the party’s ideologies to Ghanaians down to the grassroots.
The three-day programme was packed with a clean-up exercise at the St. Joseph hospital in Nkwanta, a health walk and football games.
In attendance was the MP, Hon. Geoffrey Kini and the party executives within the constituency.
