Awal Mohammed Sacked as YEA Corporate & Communication Director; a lesson to all NDC Youths

NPP will use you, milk you and later dump you!

I remember prior to the 2016 general election, JM advised his junior brother Bawumia to be careful with the NPP because it is only when they need your service that they will continually hail and praise you and will dump you when they achieve their goals.

[ads1]During the recent vetting of Nana Addo’s ministers, we saw how the Senior Minister threw Dr. Bawumia, our Vice President into the bin.

He was very emphatic that he will never report to Dr. Bawumia our Vice President who is the Chairman of the Economic Management team but rather he will jump the gun to the president.

This shows clearly that technically Osafo Marfo is the Vice president of Ghana but ceremonial and constitutionally is Dr. Bawumia.

This clearly tells us that all animals are equal but some are more equal than others (Ayisi Boateng’s case study)

Awal Mohammed was a vibrant NDC communicator in the Ashanti Region. Very brilliant and was on top of the job. Am told he could go to seven to eight radio stations in a day and was very active on social media as well.

He was very dedicated to the job until the elephant set in with juicy promises to lure him to the bush.

Two months to the 2016 election was when I heard that Awal had defected to NPP. I didn’t believe until they started removing him from all NDC platforms.

Later we saw his pictures with Nana Addo and his press conference surrounded by Sammy Awuku, Kodua and Nana B.

I know Awal fed the NPP with lots of classified information in Ashanti Region which led to our massive lost in that region.

After the elections and appointment of Mr. Kodua who is the Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP as the CEO of YEA, he also quickly rewarded Awal with the corporate affairs and Communications Director of YEA.

I wasn’t surprised when the NPP youths in Ashanti Region demonstrated against his appointment. Some called Awal a traitor, opportunist and other horrific names.

But I told a friend Awal’s appointment is like a China phone which wouldn’t last

Awal upon his appointment never used his position to benefit the YEA much but always attacking JM and the NDC on his Facebook page.

Instead of sitting in his office in Accra and work for mother Ghana Awal is always seen in Kumasi moving from radio station to station projecting Nana B and insulting a party that gave birth to him.

Just three days ago we were told the elephants have pushed Awal away, infact he has been sacked from his position as the Corporate and Communications affairs Director and with immediate effect replaced with Mr. David Appiah, Eastern Regional Communication Officer of NPP who was holding the same position at NITA.

The news came as a shock because it came with an attachment that because YEA will soon be rolling out new programs, they need a competent person who is proactive to handle the communication aspect of the agency.

This I see as an insult on our own Awal who we trained as a party but decided to leave and betray.

Now Awal is finished politically. Because he will never be recognized in the NPP and will be difficult for him to be back to his root.

Now from my recent check, after the announcement of his dismissal, the likes and comments on his Facebook posts have even reduced.

All these confirm JM’s prophecy to us the young politicians.

Prof.Alhaji Sani was NDC MP, he was deceived and promised juicy positions. Later he got convinced and resigned as NDC MP and contested on a ticket of the NPP for By-Election that same year and lost miserably. That ended his political career.

Sometimes it wouldn’t be easy for us as the youths of the party, but let’s continue to hold onto our believes in the party and push till we get results.

It wouldn’t be easy today but our tomorrow will be greater than today.

Switching camps from one party to another makes you an automatic traitor and a ”greedy” person who will be feared by both parties and will kill your political potentials, dreams and future plans.

Awal’s case study should be a guide to us in opposition to encouraged us to stand in the storm do more for victory 2020.

Victory 2020 is Possible but it’s just a matter of time.
