In a Facebook post, Manasseh Azure commended the IGP and the Ghana Police Service for acting on the viral video which involved the “untouchable” Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah and his associates issuing threats, brandishing weapons and assaulting some police personnel.

Mr Azure added that the arrest of Rev. Owusu Bempah is a premise for steering the nation to a point where lawless people will be unable to threaten the lives of others or act with impunity because of their closeness to people that wield political power.

Manasseh also lauded the Police for arresting a taxi driver who had confessed on Television to taking part in ritual murders.

“That is proactive policing. And it’s good”. Manasseh wrote.
