Alan Kyeremanten supporters run back to NPP, said leaving was a mistake

Supporters of Alan Kyeremanten defect to NPP

Many of the NPP supporters who ditched the party to join Alan Kyerematen and his Movement for Change have returned to the NPP.

The group led by the Former NPP parliamentary candidate aspirant for Adentan, Mr Alfred Ababio Kumi claimed defecting to join another party other than the NPP was a big mistake.

In a press conference held in Accra, Ababio Kumi publicly acknowledged their mistake and declared their unflinching support for the NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

“It has become evidently clear that we made a mistake; a mistake that we humbly admit and are ready to work to ensure that its dire effect is reversed or averted,” Ababio Kumi said.

“Since the February 7, 2024 speech by the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, we have been asking ourselves questions that bother on the future of this country and the very Ghana that we young people want,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Nationwide Supporters of Alan Cash (NAWSAC) have utterly accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of bribing Alan’s supporters. The group alleged that the NPP is using money to lure the youth to reject Alan Kyerematen and the Movement for Change.

In a statement released on Monday, April 22, 2024, NAWSAC expressed disappointed over the NPP’s clandestine political tactics and admonished the youth not to be bought by money.

The group’s convener, Luther-King Junior, reiterated that young politicians are disillusioned with the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over their manipulative mannerisms and are determined to stand by their own convictions and support for the impeccable leadership of Alan Kyerematen.
