The former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Professor Stephen Adei, has slammed the Akufo-Addo-led government, claiming that the ruling NPP is full of corrupt people who believe Ghana belongs to them.
According to him, President Akufo-Addo has been the country’s disappointment, emphasizing that if he does not fulfill the lofty promises he made to Ghanaians, he will go down in history as one of the most disappointing leaders and the worst president.
“One of the greatest disappointments of President Akufo-Addo’s regime is that, honestly, he raised the hope of Ghanaians; thus, the citizenry expected that they had gotten a leader with vision, charisma, and determination, and it seems if he doesn’t redeem himself in the next 14 months, he will go down in history as one of the most disappointing leaders,” he said.
He bemoaned the sheer arrogance that has infested the minds of the NPP government appointees.
“The corruption, the arrogance—they think that Ghana is for them and that without them, Ghana will not be there, and some of them think that they should tell us who should be the next president,” he stressed.
