The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the 2020 Polls, Mr. Henry Osei Akoto has taken a swipe at President Akuffo Addo labeling him a tyrant and the most wicked President Ghana has ever had.

According to him, the President and his vice, after taking power from the NDC have failed woefully to meet the demands of Ghanaians in all sectors of the economy but rather unleashed violence, and untold hardships against the masses.

His comments come at the backdrop of the violence and maltreatment meted out to innocent souls during the Arise Ghana Demo on Tuesday adding that President Akuffo Addo is the most insensitive President in the history of the fourth republic.

He further said Ghana has a tyrant as President who has no recourse to the rule of law , implying that state institutions like police are following the dictates of the President because the violence exhibited by the Police during yesterday’s protest add more ink to the wicked nature of Akuffo Addo.

“We elected a tyrant in the name of Democracy. I was in a car with some of the most biggest guns in the NDC & for no reason, the Police commenced firing bullets, and tear gas at us but with unity, we prevailed in the face of such atrocities.”

He added, “I was hit by a rubber bullet in the Chen, the arrests and tyranny led by the hypocritical Dampare backed by the most wicked President Ghana has ever seen is beyond human all expressions”

“These are the apostles of the rule of law” – he added

Many Ghanaians have expressed worry over the abuse of power by the Police whenever there’s a peaceful demonstration in the Country.

He called on the discerning Ghanaians to show the NPP the exit in the forthcoming 2024 general elections for Ghana to enjoy its peace of Democracy under the next NDC administration.
