Actress Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has been convicted by an Accra Circuit Court over nude photo with her son.

This occurred after the social media sensation pleaded guilty in court today, Wednesday, April 14, 2021, for posting naked pictures of herself and her 7-year-old son on social media in June last year.

She has, then, been remanded into custody.

Sentencing was deferred by the presiding judge, Ms Christiana Cann to Friday, April 16, 2021 to enable her undergo a pregnancy test in concession with the law regarding a woman who has pleaded guilty in court to ascertain she is not pregnant.

Akuapem Poloo pleaded not guilty when she was arraigned in November 9, 2020, but in court today, she changed her plea from not guilty to guilty.

She pleaded guilty to all three charges and was convicted on her own plea by the court.

Rosemond Brown was charged with publication of obscene material, and two counts of engaging in domestic violence.
