What is always important as first step to doing anything positive in life is having a vision. Second is making a move to getting the vision in motion, third is the vision accomplished and last is the accomplishment protected with a good maintenance culture.
This is what the Akufo-Addo presidency has offered; Extraordinary Persuasive Vision which ordinary minds cannot fathom. Examples are the Free Senior High School, One District One Factory, One Village One Dam, Planting for Food and Jobs, etc programs introduced and executed by the President Akufo-Addo led visionary government.
You need to see far, think far and take action regardless the short term challenges which may seem to topple the vision. The Agenda 111 Hospitals project is a national health developmental plan whose execution began nearly a year ago in the form of an architectural design in an uncommon mind.
The vision is to be executed, even if not entirely by the Akufo-Addo government, but a start of it for subsequent governments to continue the vision. In the long run, Ghana’s health system should see some reasonable physical infrastructural patch up.
Nations are destroyed with pessimists but built with optimists. I choose to be an optimist in this nation building and fixing agenda. Citizenship comes with a full duty of care to the nation, with optimism as its key propelling factor to growth and development.
These projects shall go into the historical archives of this nation as projects of a generational visionary president, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who cut sod for the construction of some One Hundred and Eleven (111) hospitals across the nation. Certainly, this is history that Ghana, our beloved country should be proud to celebrate.
