Afokos want their brother released; not Prado to their chief – Efo Worlanyo blasts Nana

The Bono Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has descended heavily on President Akufo-Addo saying the people of Builsa and the Afoko gate want their detained brother, Gregory Afoko released from Police custody and not donating a brand new Prado to their chief.

Efo Worlanyo was reacting to a news report alleging that the President has given the Sandema Naab Azantilow a brand new Toyota Prado on his recent visit to the Upper East Region.

He alleged that “The President is in Sandema, the Builsaland because he knows the warriors, the fighters, the descendants of the great Naab Azantilow are very angry. What I have learnt and love about the fearless Builsa people is that if you touch one, you have touched all of them. They are very united. And they respect their royals and authority, no wonder they were conquerors of numerous wars in the days of old.”

According to the vociferous youth leaders, “Paul Afoko [the ousted NPP National Chairman] is a Builsa from Sandema. Not just from Sandema but a royal from the Afoko gate. A gate that came very close to the current occupants of the of the Builsa skin the great Azantilow in the enskinment process. I was in Sandema as a National Service Personnel when Naab Azantilow was enskined in a very transparent manner so I know how close the Afokos are to the royal gate.”

Recounting how he thinks the President has touched the royal gate, this is what Efo Worlanyo has to say as posted on his facebook page sighted by Awake News:

“Nana Addo has realized he has touched one of the royal gates and has desecrated the land by:

1. Illegally skimming with his NPP people to forceably remove Paul Afoko the elected National Chairman from office.

2.Arresting and detaining another royal Gregory Afoko for three years for no wrong done but just to paint his brother Paul Afoko black which has gone along way to affect the family just because he the President wanted to win power.

3.Continual detention of Gregory Afoko a royal even after the court has acquitted and discharged him of any wrong doing and all the falsehood against him and his noble family.”

For Efo Worlanyo, President Akufo-Addo should not think with all those cited incidences hanging on his neck, he can appease the people of Sandema with “his hypocritical donations” to their leader.

Lot of people don’t know the reason behind Nana Addo’s frequent visit to Sandema and his hypocritical donations.

Paul Afoko is a Builsa from Sandema. Not just from Sandema but a royal from the Afoko gate. A gate that came very close to the current occupants of the of the Builsa skin the great Azantilow in the enskinment process. I was in Sandema as a National Service Personnel when Naab Azantilow was enskined in a very transparent manner so i know how close the Afokos are to the royal gate.

Nana Addo has realized he has touched one one the royal gates and has desecrated the land by:

1. Illegally skimming with his NPP people to forceably remove Paul Afoko the elected National Chairman from office.

2.Arresting and detaing another royal Gregory Afoko for three years for no wrong done but just to paint his brother Paul Afoko black which has gone along way to affect the family just because he the President wanted to win power.

3.Continual detention of Gregory Afoko a royal even after the court has acquitted and discharged him of any wrong doing and all the falsehood against him and his noble family.

This is an issue that has taken international stage with amnesty international even condemning the Npp government and calling for the release of the gentleman because everything shows that the President and the Npp simply hate the people of Builsaland.

The President is in Sandema, the Builsaland because he knows the warriors, the fighters, the descendants of the great Naab Azantilow are very angry. What I have learnt and love about the fearless Builsa people is that if you touch one, you have touched all of them. They are very united. And they respect their royals and authority, no wonder they were conquerors of numerous wars in the days of old.

The President should know that his hypocritical visit and donations to the fearless Builsa people won’t cool tempers but he should rather release Gregory Afoko who the court has discharged to his family. That is what they want.

The people of the Builsaland want their Chuchuliga Novorongo road tared. They want their Sandema, Wiaga and Fumbisi roads worked on.

They want their one million per constituency, they want their One District One Factory.

They deserve a better share of the National cake. Thay also deserve all the “good things” he is doing in Kyebi including the proposed multi million dollar palace. They deserve better than a Prado because even Presidential staffers are using V8s.

Mr President, am still a citizen not a spectator.

Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO.
