24-hour economy will create more jobs for Ghanaians – Kenneth Johnson

A manufacturing consultant, Kenneth Johnson, has said that the implementation of a 24-hour economy policy by the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, will create more employment and revitalize the Ghanaian economy.

In an interview on Power FM 97.9, Mr. Johnson emphasized that the vision for a 24-hour economy goes beyond simply extending the operational hours of existing businesses in the country.

The former parliamentary aspirant for the Mfantsiman constituency stated that the policy is grounded in a comprehensive approach that encourages and incentivizes businesses across various sectors to adopt 24-hour operations, thus creating employment opportunities and stimulating economic growth.

He said Ghanaians should not take attacks on the policy seriously, labeling them as comic.

Mr. Ken Johnson is the Chairman of the NDC Branch in Telford and President of the Professional’s Forum in the UK.

The NPP, led by its flagbearer, Mahamudu Bawumia, mentioned on Monday, November 20, that the 24-hour economy concept was already being implemented in Ghana and that Mr. Mahama doesn’t understand the policy.

Mr. Johnson stated that the 24-hour economy policy can transform Ghana’s economic situation and alleviate the massive unemployment crisis in the country.
