The Ghana Black Stars has earned a point in group of F of the 2025 African Cup of Nation Qualifiers.
Their one point campaign came after poor start of the 2025 AFCON first match against Angola at the Baba Ayra sports stadium. The Black Stars today September 9, 2024 in Morocco, at the Stade Municipal Berkane scored in the first half of the game. The goal came through Alidu Seidu the defender of Rennes.
The Ghana Black Stars came back into the game very strong but could not add to their secxured goal non keep a clean sheet.
The goal of Niger came in the 81 minute through midfielder Moussa Moudou.
Even though Head Coach of the Ghana Black Stars, Otto Addo, had stated before the game that his side must win the game, they end up in a 1-1 draw.
Ghana now lies third in their group with just a point having conceded two goals and scoring only one goal.
