The Bono Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Efo Wornayo Tsekpo has alleged that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is planning to plant independent parliamentary candidates at NDC strongholds in the 2020 election hence warning the NDC to be watchful.

According to him in a statement copied Awake News, the agenda to sponsor former NDC PC who lost in the primaries is to help split votes in the NDC front into those areas paving way for the NPP candidate to win.

He further revealed that the plot “will be the first step of preventing the NDC from getting majority seats in Parliament so that if there should be a runoff in 2020 the people of Ghana could consider their purported majority and vote massively for them.”

He also said, “they discussed the current popularity of former President John Dramani Mahama which is growing faster than they could imagine and concluded that there should be constant attack of his personality by the likes of Wontumi, Owusu Bempa, Abronye and others and their National Communication team should always see to it that the media houses should be made to hype those attacks to make President John Mahama unpopular.”

NPP PLANNING TO PLANT INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES IN OUR STRONGHOLDS, LET’S WATCH OUT!… Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo.

NPP has still not recovered from the shock of the district assembly elections after spending more than 3000 Ghana cedis, 500 health insurance slots, ten street bulbs and many others on each of the candidates they presented for the Election which is contrary to the dictates of our constitution.

The nationwide shock called for an emergency meeting of all Regional executives and Ministers to account for the reason for their loss.

From a close source at the meeting, it was disclosed they concluded they will be buried by the people of Ghana if they continue to make free SHS the solution to every problem.

According to my source at their meeting, their assignment is to look for influential and bitter former aspirants who lost in the just-ended NDC Parliamentary primaries for full sponsorship so that they can contest in most of our strongholds.

According to them, this will be the first step of preventing the NDC from getting majority seats in Parliament so that if there should be a runoff in 2020 the people of Ghana could consider their purported majority and vote massively for them.

From the same source, they discussed the current popularity of former President John Dramani Mahama which is growing faster than they could imagine and concluded that there should be constant attack of his personality by the likes of Wontumi, Owusu Bempa, Abronye and others and their National Communication team should always see to it that the media houses should be made to hype those attacks to make President John Mahama unpopular.

They also discussed the voters register where the likes of Akpalu and some civil society groups will be recruited to make noise in favour of it, details of that will be privately discussed with Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah our fearless Elections Director who was also discussed at the meeting as stubborn and must be watched.

Per the information from their meeting, it shows that victory is very close to us and we just have to put our house in order to prevent an emerging independent candidate from our constituencies and making use of the branch and constituency executives to seal the victory deal next year.

Let’s not allow them, comrades who have the intention of going independent should know that our ultimate goal is to make John Mahama our next President and win more seats on the ticket of NDC and NDC alone.

Let’s eschew the past as we enter a new year so that we will not fall into the trap NPP has set for us.

Shalom, Peace and Love.

Merry Xmas….. See you in a victorious 2020.
