We financed the budget from our own revenue, we didn’t borrow one cedis from the central bank, the first time in Ghana’s history. Everything that we financed the budget with in 2016, we did zero central bank financing”.

In relation to a robust economy, the flag-bearer renowned that, they built a resilient economy that was on its way to prosperity had the Nana Addo’s led administration continued from where the NDC left. He said; ” this had put the economy on a platform where, I mean if the Nana Addo’s administration had taken over with the additional Oil revenue and things we would have just continue Fiscal Consolidation with Growth and you would have felt the prosperity within the system, instead they jettison everything and decided to go on their own track”.
